About
I am specialised in complex planning processes for large-scale airport projects. I have 20 years of experience in airport planning. Within this time, I have worked as planner, consultant, project manager and as client representative.
About
My focus are the early phases of a project from strategy and organization over masterplanning and feasibility studies to concept and scheme design.
I do believe in a generalist project leadership approach: managing the complexity of today’s projects, keeping the overview, and aligning together all the various planning elements and stakeholder interests into one balanced result.
I also have a long-standing knowledge in agile project methods, digitalization, BIM, sustainability, project communication and decision management. I have been delivering large scale projects in 9 different countries, some as fast-track projects, in cross-cultural teams and in 100% online environment.
I am originally trained as architect, and I hold an MBA. My portfolio of projects before my airport career includes public buildings (the foreign ministry of Germany in Berlin, hospitals, libraries, and a stadium) high rise buildings (Deutsche Bank headquarter in Frankfurt), logistic facilities, office buildings and housing projects, as well as leading a Samsung design program for the Olympic Games 2012 in London.
Since 2020 I work as a freelance consultant. I live in Berlin and Zurich, where I am currently also part of the client project management team for the “Dock A” Terminal project, the first large terminal in the world, which will be built almost entirely as a timber construction.
